Minimum Qualifications:Degree preferred in Supply Chain, Hotel Restaurant Management, Business, Food Science, Food Technology, Dietetics, Nutrition, or another related field. Other related experience considered.Must have excellent written, verbal and people skillsKnowledge of all phases of food preparation, sanitation, and serviceAbility to effectively superviseBilingual preferredAbility to work well with administrators, teachers, parents and studentsExperience in volume food service operation including supervisory experienceMust be Servsafe CertifiedAbility to stand and move about easily Essential Job Responsibilities:Contributes toward a positive, professional working and learning environment by:Works with menu planner to select and procure products based on brand guidelinesManages proprietary product and inventory databasesManages commodity usage and allocation based on entitlement and menu needsCoordinate suppliers and forecast product needsMonitor site needs cross referenced with menu forecasting to reduce food cost and overproductionOversee warehouse operations ensuring efficient operation and meeting site needs.Ensure HACCP and safety standards are followed at all timesCompleting Product Evaluations and meet with vendors on new products.Assisting in monitoring compliance with NSLP and NSB regulations.Performing other duties as assigned.Performing all duties in a safe and prudent manner as direct.
