Seeking an experienced, energetic and results oriented FOH Manager. Eagle Mountain Golf Club is a premiere golf club located near Scottsdale, AZ and has a full-service restaurant. The Grille features breakfast and lunch in a casual atmosphere. In addition to “The Grille” the club has a Special Events Pavilion specializing in weddings, business luncheons, meetings and golf event catering.
Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000 BOE
Responsibilities:
- Lead all guest components including excellent food quality, guest service, friendliness and restaurant cleanliness
- Ensuring staff complies with company policies and ensure staff follows all hygiene and safety regulations
- Training staff to follow restaurant, uniform and service standards
- Oversee Special Events and assist Special Event Coordinator to ensure events run smoothly as well assisting in set-up and tear down.
- Expedite food orders when necessary and ensure entrees are plated correctly and visually appealing
- Work with Chef on creating new menu items and specials
- Organizing schedules
- Keeping track of employees’ hours
- Recording payroll data
- Ordering supplies while staying within budget limitations
- Supervising daily shift operations
- Ensuring all end of day cash outs are correctly completed.
- Coordinating daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
- Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste.
- Appraising staff performance
- Interviewing/recruiting new employees
- Interacting with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
Compensation: $60,000 plus commission
- Commissions are from Special Event revenue and based on financial results. Approximately 2-3K annually.
Required experience:
- Food and Beverage : 5 years minimum
- Food and Beverage Management: 2 years minimum
Required licenses or certifications:
- Food Handler
- Liquor Certification
