- The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for directing and overseeing the daily Food & Beverage Operations of multi-property casinos. Must have prior opening resort experience. This includes developing and initiating procedures, policies, and operational controls, training, appraising, and evaluating results of overall operations, and maintaining, and upgrading the appearance of guest and staff facilities. Also, contribute to goals established for the property’s future operations, budgeted financial performance, and overall department growth.
- Develops an operating budget for the department’s revenue outlets; after approval, monitors and takes corrective action as necessary to assure that the budgets sales and cost goals are attained.
- Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food and Beverage Departments to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Assures that effective orientation and training for new staff and professional development activities for experienced staff are implemented.
- Inspects to ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, preventive maintenance and other standards are consistently met.
- Assures that all standard operating procedures for sales and cost control are in place and consistently utilized.
- Develops operating tools necessary and incidental to modern management principles, e.g., budgeting, forecasting purchase specifications, recipes, portion specifications, menu abstracts, food production control, job descriptions, etc.
- Continuously evaluates the performance and encourage improvement of the personnel in the Food and Beverage department.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- To lead and create a team environment that promotes employee engagement and ensures a high level of commitment and pride.
- To ensure effective communication with the team by holding regular briefing sessions and attending all management meetings.
- Partner with Human Resources to develop Department Training Plan(s) to meet the hotels business objectives and develop team members.

Salary: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
