Job Title:Float Pool RN
Location: Acute Care Hospital Multiple Locations Available
Compensation: $41.42-$71.68/hr based on experience, setting, tenure, and shift(s)
Overview: We are seeking experienced Float Pool Registered Nurses for Full-Time, Part-Time or Per Diem, providing comprehensive care across various critical care units within the hospital. As a Critical Care Float Pool RN, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and adapting to different critical care environments.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Expertise: Provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients in diverse critical care units, including but not limited to ICU, CCU, MICU, SICU, Med-Surg and more.
Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and implement appropriate interventions in response to changing patient conditions.
Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans, ensuring timely interventions and treatments.
Patient Advocacy: Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed while upholding ethical and professional standards.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in transitioning between different critical care units based on the hospital's needs, maintaining high standards of care in each setting.
Education and Support: Provide guidance and support to patients and their families, offering education on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; or enrolled in a program within one year of hire.
Minimum of 1 years of recent experience in critical care nursing within an acute care setting.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to varying work environments and schedules, including day, night, and weekend shifts.
