Responsibilities:
- Manage fleet of approximately 200 vehicles, primarily light trucks
- Manage Fleet Management Companies (FMC) and ensure accurate data and reports
- Acquires vehicles: works with manufacturer fleet contact and receives company allocations, places fleet order with FMC to be distributed throughout the continental US
- Creates Fleet Analysis reporting for new orders that incorporates all costs (lease, maintenance, fuel) and accounts for truck utilization to profits that estimates the effect to Operating Expenses to the firm
- Creates fleet reports from FMC software, analyzes data and customizes it to Woolpert for senior management review
- Manage titles and registrations in multiple states throughout the US
- Create and implement policies/procedures to increase fleet efficiency
- Conduct vehicle and license checks to ensure compliance with regulations
- Evaluate vehicle usage data and optimize fleet to match business needs
- Manage service, maintenance and repairs with vendors; prepares periodic reports on maintenance costs for senior management review
- Track costs and prepare budgets for fleet spending
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
Requirements:
- BS degree in related field of study
- 5+ years managing large fleet operations of over 100 vehicles.
- 2+ years working in a management role
- Budget and data analysis experience
- Understanding of fleet profitability calculations
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
- Familiarity with fleet management software and GPS systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite
