Fleet Maintenance Depot Manager
Reports To the logistics director
this is an open role/newer position open due to growth!
The Fleet Service Manager will oversee planning, directing, managing, coordinating, and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal of fleet.
This role is responsible for 100+ Fleet (Tractor and Trailers) and $2.5M+ maintenance budget.
Essential Job Functions
Ensure 24/7 safety operations centered around (CNG) Compress Natural Gas to ensure that staff members, comply with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and DOT regulations.
Inspect physical conditions of CNG tractors, trailers maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
High Performance Metrics: 90% Preventive Maintenance and 85% Fleet Uptime.
Plan, train, and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
Collaborate with Operations to ensure they have adequate, preventative maintenance process in place.
Monitor inventory levels of products or materials in stock.
Support satellite equipment fleets to include but not limited to Little Falls, NY and Halltown, WV.

Requirements
Experience with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) or hazardous materials required.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Fleet software.
Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet and CNG station equipment to maximize equipment availability. Ability to facilitate the technical training and development of team members.
Ensure consistent, timely, and quality repairs
Maintain a detailed and accurate parts inventory.
Execute necessary safety and compliance procedures.
