DESCRIPTION OF WORK
You will serve as liaison with contracted agencies and Medical Assistance Office; maintain statistical data and its interface with Commonwealth requirements regarding Consolidated Community Reporting Initiative (CCRI); prepare bi-annual CCRI reports and participate in quarterly CCRI meetings; review and assure data correctness; input data; prepare bills; transmit and reconcile MA initiative and CCBH; maintain monthly MH billing, payment and adjustment reports for general ledger; maintain MH petty cash; reconcile and maintain subsidiary accounts for MH/ID/EI contracted services; maintain ongoing reviews and analysis of county ledgers to assure accuracy; maintain and update incoming revenues; prepare invoices; prepare daily cash receipt transmittal reports; prepare BCHSA reimbursement GL code sheets for wire transfers; responsible for all EI billing/rebillling/voiding claims to PROMISe; monitor consumer MA eligibility; monitor EI provider billing to ensure accurate use of funding sources, billing codes and payment source; maintain monthly service coordinator productivity reports and flow charts; maintain data and source files pertaining to the operations; attend training and conferences; cross train with other department personnel; and perform other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Hours may vary due to travel, after hours appointments, etc.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year as a Fiscal Assistant or three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or
  • One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • You must pass a background investigation.
