Description
Dauphin County Department of Drug & Alcohol Services is currently accepting applications for the full-time, day shift position of Fiscal Technician. The Fiscal Technician is responsible for monitoring the fund balances of the Drug and Alcohol Services budget and assists with the fiscal portion of the SCA Provider monitoring process. The position provides technical assistance to Providers and ensures the overall quality and accuracy of all invoices and adequate fund balances prior to payment. Some duties of the position include: Monitoring fund balances, reviewing invoices, preparing reports, technical oversight of the accounting software, and participating in provider monitoring. The Fiscal Technician is supervised by the Drug & Alcohol Fiscal Officer 2.
Minimum Education, Experience, and Training Requirements
One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or graduation from a four year college or university, including or supplemented by 15 credits in accounting; or three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or one year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that includes six credits in accounting.
