Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Products & Services Quality Manager - NDT & RVI (Level K) at the Everett Delivery Center to support our Quality Team in Everett, WA.
In this role you are expected to serve as an organization spokesperson regarding advanced projects and programs. The selected candidate will lead/manage a crew of quality technicians with multiple Nondestructive Test skill sets.

Position Responsibilities

  • Maintain workforce consisting of Magnetic Visual Inspection technicians to support tests/inspections for production emergent rework and repairs
  • Supervise Everett personnel providing analysis, test, inspection or statistical data to determine product and processes conformity
  • Facilitate NDT support for AOG projects
  • Advise on advanced technology in non-destructive instrumentation and inspection principles and guide implementation of advanced inspection/test techniques
  • Support suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues involving tests, processes and equipment
  • Participate on enterprise and industry teams to influence the standardization and regulation of training and certification requirements
  • Lead individuals in support of acquiring capital equipment through purchasing agents and review boards to maintain industry standards of testing

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 3+ years of experience working in Quality organization
  • 3+ years of experience working with Quality Systems (e.g. BQMS, IOS, Aerospace Standards)
  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the organization

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Experience with Magnetic Particle Inspection
  • Experience with Ultrasonic (UT) and Eddy (ET) Current
  • 3+ Experience performing or supervising nondestructive testing activities in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ Experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • Experience with remote visual inspection
  • Composite experience
