Our talented Alarm Foremen lead their assigned job, perform Fire Alarm systems repairs and installations. He/she will direct the activities of their assigned Helper and train him/her on the proper way to service Fire Alarm systems. All work must be performed accurately and timely. He/she develops a strong relationship with the customer to exceed all their expectations and ensure a quality, timely installation or repair is achieved.

Day to Day
- Installs, tests, and repairs Fire Alarm systems.
- Consults with client on system requirements; provides system recommendations.
- Uses blueprints or building plans to determine proper systems to install based on building layout and setting.
- Runs wiring and circuits, installs hardware, and attaches electrical wires.
- Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and electrical wiring; makes adjustments and repairs as required.
- Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
- Ensures systems comply with electrical and fire codes.
- Explains and demonstrates system function and operation to end users.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Train Helpers to ensure they are ready for promotion.
- Ensure all work and safety rules are followed.
- Keep company vehicle clean and serviced.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and orderly.
Qualifications
To be hired at WAFS as a Foreman, you must possess 3+ years of Fire Alarms experience including system installation, repairs, troubleshooting, putting systems on test, and more. We also require the ability to supervise each project and all Helpers working on the jobsite.
