We are seeking qualified field electricians for high-profile Fire Alarm installations, to work out of the Hollywood, FL office. You will be responsible for Fire Alarm Installations in the field, layout, assemble, low voltage equipment for Fire Alarm systems, ensuring work complies with relevant codes and regulations. Work closely with construction managers, project superintendents and project managers to oversee job assignment scopes. WE PAY FOR EXPERIENCE, compensation and benefits are EXTREMELY competitive and negotiable based on experience. Company vehicle complete with fuel and automotive service expense account included.

Ideal candidates must have expertise in Fire Alarm Installation, electrical control and low-voltage systems. Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and construction safety requirements. Ability to review and follow engineered drawings, knowledge of current NFPA Building codes a plus. Supervise, develop/mentor technicians.

To qualify you must have the following:

• High School diploma and equivalent experience or related field preferred.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screen.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean MVR.
• Must have Fire Alarm, electrical control and low-voltage systems installation experience; including electrical construction – wiring and conduit installation.
• Knowledge of NEC (national Electric Code) and NFPA 72
• Experience with Notifier and NICET a PLUS
• Knowledge of current NFPA building codes a PLUS
• FASA/BASA a PLUS
• Excellent communication skills with customers, crew and vendors
• Basic computer and writing skills; experience working on laptop and/or iPad
