Job Description:
- This Analyst, FP&A position is the finance business partner supporting Operating Expenses (OpEx) function.
- You will play a major role in the development of best in class procedures related to the completion of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong business partnership with business leaders as a finance subject matter expert.
- As the finance business partner, your goal is to drive company performance by helping the business leaders develop a strategy and support its execution.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for preparing and loading annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Responsible for month-end activities for the business including preparing journal entries, analyzing business performance, reviewing financial output for reasonableness, understanding variance drivers, and relaying significant variances from forecasts and plan to business leaders
- Accountable for the accuracy, thoroughness and timeliness of required reporting analysis
- Consolidate financial information from various ERP systems and effectively communicate monthly results to key stakeholders
- Understand business trends, make conclusions, and suggest actions to drive business and strategy decisions
- Develop and sustain strong business relationships with business leaders
- Manage project spend allocated across multiple businesses
- Provide financial advice to business leaders based on Company Policy & US GAAP
- Prepare monthly headcount report for MMS and other Ad-Hoc projects
Required Qualifications:
- BA in accounting, finance or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and processes
- Advanced MS Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• SAP
• SAP Business Planning & Consolidations (BPC)
Knowledge & Skills:
- Demonstrate working knowledge of financial statements and analytical techniques
- Develop an understanding of key business drivers to better predict possible outcomes and impacts
- Attention to detail as well as big picture view
- Strong communication skills for different mediums (email, small meetings, teleconferences, group presentations)
- Ability to prioritize and meet timelines under pressure while producing accurate results
- Ability to work accurately under strict deadlines with minimal supervision, independently and as a team player.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and diverse team environment, and with all levels of leadership and demonstrated sensitivity to cultural and geographical differences when interacting with others.
