ABOUT THE JOB
Infinium Spirits is seeking a part time or full time intern for our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The FP&A Intern will get a broad overview of the budget process while also gaining experience in forecasting, reporting, pricing, and preparing presentations and training for key stakeholders. This role will work directly with the Sr. Financial Analyst to support the Sales and Commercial teams and take ownership for the analysis and reporting of depletions, monthly reporting, and monthly forecast for the US segment.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Provide analytical support for sale divisions by preparing meaningful and actionable reporting, variance analysis, depletions reporting
- Assist with monthly forecasts - refreshing templates and providing data analysis and reporting support
- Support commercial leadership with analysis of brand performance and analytics to support annual strategy
- Profitability Analysis on product and customer level as part of the company wide Financial Planning process, including but not limited to:
- Seagram's Vodka - assist sales with entering new FOB and deals into Price 2.0
- Maintain US Customer FOB in ERP and ensure prices match to Price 2.0
- Scans and coupon analysis and validation
- Develop and maintain sales dashboard reporting
- Act as a key business partner support to operationally relevant functions
- Financial modelling
- Preparation of monthly reporting package for management
- Provide month-end analysis and support as needed
- Cost allocations
- Review supplier funding and other funds
- Assist commercial teams with purchase orders

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree required
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in statistics, accounting, finance, and/or economics coursework required
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.)
- Responsibly manages sensitive or confidential information
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Self-starter; ability to work independently on projects and tasks
- Must be able to travel by plane or train for long distance.
- Must be able to work in a professional corporate office environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear.
- Must have close vision, distant vision, ability to adjust focus, peripheral and color vision.
- Must be able sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and work on a computer for extended periods.
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $20.00 to $22.00 per hour for San Diego, CA. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
