Financial Planning & Analysis Associate
Structure Tone, LLC | New York Business Unit
Position
The candidate will report to Albert D’Amelio, VP of Finance for the New York business unit of Structure Tone, LLC. This position will support the NY business unit, and members of the Structure Tone organization, including the CFO and corporate controller. This position will work closely with members of both the finance and operations teams to incorporate meaningful data into financial forecasts and analysis for use by the key stakeholders in the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities for this role include the following:
- Provide financial support to the Project Accounting and Operation teams.
- Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, including:
- Backlog and GAP analysis
- WIP Analysis
- New awards, cancellations and project delays;
- Tracked work;
- Pending/potential change orders
- Revenue/GP forecasts by sector, client and contract.
- Support quarterly and annual forecasts submissions, including revenue, profit, G&A, and other key income statement accounts.
- Analyze business unit performance and trends.
- Identify and analyze variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure timely communication of results to key personnel within the organization.
- Support corporate projects and initiatives that impact the broader organization.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within the business unit, and the Structure Tone corporate level.
- Analyze current business and reporting processes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis.
Qualifications
The desired candidate will have strong communication, analytical and time management skills, in addition to:
- 5+ years relevant FP&A experience.
- Must have Construction, Architecture or Engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting procedures and financial reporting practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into simple language for business leaders; strong command of the English language.
- Experience with ERP systems like, CMiC or Oracle is preferred.
Salary Range
- 110,000 - 150,000
