Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Director

Summary of Position:
We are seeking an experienced and effective FP&A Director to join an exciting team that values innovation and continuous growth. As an FP&A Director, you will serve as a member of the Fortune International corporate team and play a critical role in driving Financial Planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making for the company, while also leveraging data visualization to communicate complex financial insights effectively. Ideal candidates will have experience working with Private Equity backed distribution and inventory management experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure comprehensive work plans support the budget, strategic business plans, and priorities.
- Lead the Financial Planning and analysis function focused on development and maintenance of business and financial models and analysis to support company initiatives and sound business decisions.
- Oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis function for planning and reporting including executing cash flow forecasting to manage the company’s cash position, short term investments and credit lines to provide for adequate liquidity.
- Support senior management team and department heads with in-depth analysis to communicate key business trends and highlight key opportunities and costs.
- Identify and lead the development of high value analysis on business drivers, trends, and risk/opportunities.
- Lead interpretation of complex financial reports and statistical analysis as well as development of recommendations.
- Support the preparation of executive presentations, executive reporting, and strategic analysis.
- Track key performance indicators and provide analysis to support business decisions.
- Leads various process improvements and simplification initiatives across the Supply Chain Organization.
- Maintain open communication channels with colleagues and management to resolve issues.
- Ensure integrity of financials; maintain sound internal controls.
- Provide coaching and career development opportunities to direct reports.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education – bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data to drive business strategies, with expertise in data visualization tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience – 10+ years of experience as a FP&A Director or related role with at least 5 years in a management position.
- Work ethic – A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time sensitive deadlines.
- Accuracy – Demonstrated ability to accurately maintain financial records in a fast-paced environment.
- Mathematical – Ability to perform basic arithmetic tasks – adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying - consistent with Accountants job requirements.
- Technical – Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
