THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
Marketing FP&A is seeking a highly motivated and analytical FP&A Manager to join our team and play a key role in optimizing our promotional offers and strategies to drive financial success. Your role will be pivotal in forecasting the impact of different types of offers on our financial performance and providing actionable insights to enhance our promotional strategy and support enterprise sales and margin objectives. The manager will lead the Marketing Promotions FP&A team and partner with Growth Marketing leadership to develop, forecast and measure effective promotional strategies including managing ongoing promotional effectiveness analytics, reporting and scenario planning.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
  • Modeling quarterly sales and margin impacts of the Marketing promotional calendar to inform corporate financial forecasts and guide strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain robust weekly forecasting models to predict the financial impact of various promotional offers, factoring in audience targeting, seasonality, market conditions, and other relevant variables.
  • Effectively communicating results, insights and recommendations to Marketing and Finance leadership including the Chief Marketing Officer, Senior VP of Customer and Growth Marketing, and VP of Merchandising & Marketing FP&A.
  • Providing strategic thought partnership and leading financial modeling and scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of various promotional strategies to inform and influence offer decisions and optimize growth.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance promotional performance by recommending adjustments to offer structures, discounts, and targeting strategies
  • Collaborating with the Growth Marketing team as well as other cross-functional partners to gather insights, align on promotional goals and ensure the successful execution of campaigns.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of historical promotional data to assess their impact on sales, margin, and profitability as well as manage in event performance reporting analytics. Identify trends, patterns, and key drivers that influence offer effectiveness to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Identify, plan, and execute continuous improvement efforts to streamline collection, flow, analysis, and reporting of financial and non-financial data
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
  • Managing one analyst, helping them execute their role, aiding in their professional development and ensuring a welcoming environment for all.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS :
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, business, or related field
  • Advanced analytical skills coupled with an ability to interpret, communicate findings, and make recommendations. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to build processes and models that deliver desired results
  • Experienced in influencing decision makers through financial analyses and interpersonal skills
  • Proven capability in the leadership of a team and developing direct reports' skill sets
  • 7 + years of professional financial experience in a retail or consumer products organization
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong desire to see personal and organizational efforts lead to bottom-line results
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
  • Innate inquisitiveness regarding process workings and financial outcomes.
  • Proficiency in effectively prioritizing and manage multiple assignments with time sensitive deadlines
  • Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills, Business Intelligence systems is helpful
  • Proven experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, with a focus on promotions analysis and forecasting
  • This is hybrid role and requires working from the Bolingbrook office 6 days per month.
