We’re searching for a qualified Financial Planner/Advisor/Fixed IncomeService Specialist to join us in providing a balanced combination of professional investment management and personalized financial planning. The ideal candidate shares our commitment to carefully guided decision-making for portfolio management, retirement planning, tax minimization, risk management, budgeting, generational wealth education, charitable giving, market analysis, individual bond analysis, fixed income municipal, corporate, and government markets; and analyze, monitor, and trade in all fixed income markets. As a member of our advisory team, the Financial Planner will work with other professionals and continually focus on sharpening the skills and knowledge that put us at the top of our industry.
Our financial planner should be an effective communicator who is highly analytical, and customer oriented with experience in financial planning. If you’re analytical, meticulous, and customer-oriented, we’d like to meet you.
Objectives of this role
· Be an integral member of the advisory team and provide financial planning and investment advice to clients ranging in age and wealth.
· Take primary responsibility for all aspects of a client relationship, working closely to fully understand the financial situation and requirements.
· Execute accurate reporting that enables sound analysis and financial recommendations.
· Comply with national and local financial regulations by studying existing and proposed legislation.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the firm’s client-centered wealth management philosophy to develop sound financial plans for our clients.
- Evaluate clients’ financial documents including their income, expenses, and liabilities.
- Offer support and guidance in financial and investment planning.
- Customize financial plans according to clients’ changing needs.
- Help clients implement their plans and carry out transactions.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop a client’s entire financial roadmap.
- Build strong relationships to retain existing clients.
- Maintain updated knowledge of regulations, practices, and financial products.
Requirements and skills
- Valid professional license (Series 7 and 63, and/or 65/66)
- Proven experience as financial planner or similar role; experience in sales or customer service is an asset.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to foster long-term relationships.
- Ability to analyze financial information and comply with regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Attention to detail and excellent presentation skills.
- Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented attitude
- Experience with financial planning software.
- BSc/BA in accounting, finance, business administration or relevant field; professional certification (e.g. CFP) is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
