Summary
SDI is looking for an experienced Financial Operations Analyst with strong financial, modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The Financial Operations Analyst will be responsible for the Company’s analytics and operational insights, with a focus on top-line predictability, forecasted profitability, and other key metrics. They will have the opportunity to work closely with the Finance and Accounting team, as well as other cross-functional team members to deliver decision-making support for strategic initiatives and business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare MBR Numbers for SBU’s
- Forecasting: Overall SDI forecasts and forecasts by SBU
- Budgeting: Overall budget updates and updates at the SBU level
- Board Deck updates Hubspot and Adaptive reports
- Target Creation: Review SBU specific data and work with the SBU leads in order to create targets.
- Project and Contract specific analysis: provide actuals and month to month reports for historical analysis of project and contracts.
- Quarterly Business Review- Update a standard quarterly business review report and review with SBUs in order to present to the executive team.
- Run Ad hoc reports for SBUs and the executive team.
- Update KPI channels including but not limited to Utilization, Revenue by Client, Revenue and EBITA by Vertical and Horizontal, Utilization Trend, Non-Confirmed forecasted utilization.
- Month End Variance Review in conjunction with Finance Team
- Pricing Model Updates. Review process and make possible recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of professional financial analyst experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or CFA is a plus
- Self-motivated, detailed oriented individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability and comfort level communicating with senior management
- Ability to adapt to changes in the environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously to meet established deadlines
- Demonstrated computer skills, with advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with HubSpot & Workday/Adaptive Planning a plus
