Position Summary:
The Financial Coordinator is responsible for preparing and maintaining Technical Backoffice cost and purchasing activities, for multiple windfarms across all Customer Service Office (CSO). This will include PO preparation/management, goods receipts, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain operations cost and schedule activity information within Excel for each operation. (PO data, site administration costs, etc.). Ensure updates meet Service Controlling financial forecast requirements.
Review, investigate and explain Operations profit/loss variances between forecast to forecast and actuals to budget. Participate in reviews with Director and Service Controller.
Work with Technical Backoffice and regional teams to recover overages and savings to budget.
Track and explain actual deviations to budget.
Verification and recovery of funds in the forecast for PR creation.
Create purchase requisition within Nordex ERP system (SAP).
Maintain purchase orders for the ordering of services, parts and materials, and other site-based items per Nordex guidelines.
Perform Consumption within Nordex ERP system (SAP).
Process goods receipts within Nordex ERP systems (SAP) for service and materials POs following Nordex guidelines.
Approve invoices within Nordex ERP system (SAP).
Ensures that all service orders are accurately completed and processed in a timely manner using SAP.
Orders parts and materials on service orders through reservations (PR) for blade repairs, SN’s, IRTs, Large Components Exchange, Special Projects or any parts needed. (SAP)
Generate accruals & reclasses to be sent to Senior Financial Analyst
Report on maintained Purchase Orders for the ordering of services, parts and materials, and other site-based items ie. delivery notes. Report on processed goods receipts within Nordex ERP systems (SAP) for service and materials purchase orders. Report on invoice approval issues within Nordex ERP system X-Flow.
Support Technical Backoffice and regional leadership with invoice approval process within Nordex ERP systems.
Coordinate preparation of reports for Technical Issues Account. (Financial Reports, Re-classes, Risk Provisions)
Support preparation of monthly accruals for Technical Issues Account.
Support Technical Issues Account. Support on Budget/Forecast revision and control.
Support investigation of technical profit/loss variances.
Requirements:
2+ years in a cost controlling / financial analyst role
A high school diploma or GED required
Proficiency in the use of computers for word processing, reporting, spreadsheets, databases, email, and internet. This includes Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
SAP experience is highly preferred
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational, administrative, and business managerial skills
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional, positive working relationships both internally and externally with employees and external customers and vendors.
Ability to work with remote support groups, some of which are international
Excellent problem solving, organization, and prioritizing skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Associate degree or vocational experience preferred or in lieu of a degree relevant years of experience required
Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver’s abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.
Ability to travel domestic and international locations to project sites and on business as required with the ability to obtain a passport.
