Direct the finance department and develop and maintain necessary accounting policies and systems to ensure that records are maintained by US GAAP.
· Monitor the financial health of the organization.
· Communicate critical financial matters to the lead director and board.
· Efficient Fund management to reduce debt.
· Support operations management, sales, and marketing efforts to increase revenue and overall financial health.
· Ensure the Entry of financial data including cash receipts, journal entries, and necessary adjustments is accurate and complete at all times.
· Monitor accounts payable for coding, and accuracy and approve final submission of payments in Mineral Tree.
· Ensure payments are posted timely to Net Suite.
· Execute vendor setup and payment as well as obtain applicable tax forms.
· Perform account reconciliations on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
· Conduct and lead the month-end process and produce timely and accurate financials to lead director and board.
· Complete quarterly and annual audits.
· Month-end revenue analysis and adjustments.
· Monitor prepaid and accrued expense activity as well as make appropriate month-end entries.
· Maintain tracking and reporting of journal activity.
· Preparation and completion to IRS of annual 1099’s.
· Verify and process monthly expense reports.
· Reconcile monthly credit card account.
· Daily monitoring of credit card expenses
· Monitor aging of invoices and revenues not received, then passing along to sales managers for resolution.
· Document, implement and ensure compliance with internal controls.
· Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for finance processes and procedures.
· Develop and implement processes that support continuous improvement and positive business results.
· Daily management of cash flow and bank activity, approve wires and positive pay.
· Maintain integrity as admin and signatory on bank accounts.
· Prepare monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and take corrective action on any deviations.
· Cashflow forecasting.
· Ownership of balance sheet.
· Credit approval/denial of potential new customers.
· Annual business Insurance negotiation, applications, and renewal.
· Continue creating a structure to improve accounting and finance functions.
· Draft variance reports, regulatory filings, and related schedules.
· Research as needed for in-depth reporting requested from investors, the board, and/or the lead director.
· Pull historical documentation for reporting and analysis.
· Provides management with reports and information that can be used as a basis for improved decision-making.
· Recognize patterns in company spending, and revenue, and recommend solutions to any problem areas.
· Partner with IT and operational leadership to develop financial reports.
· Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company.
· Administration of human resources programs including compensation, benefits, and 401K.
· Assist with open enrolment of employee benefits with HR partner.
· Accurately and timely Process semi-monthly payroll.
· A resource for workers with inquiries or problems relating to payroll, 401(k), or benefits.
· Have control over inventory valuation and inventory movement to ensure all inventory movements are correctly captured.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
