Financial Controller

RemX is proud to represent a reputable homebuilder’s organization in the Atlanta, GA area, seeking for ab onsite Division Controller to join their Finance and Accounting team.

The DivisionController you will have an impact to drive the growth and profitability of division. Working closely with the VP of Finance & Accounting on financial and accounting related strategies including budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.

The Division Controller Responsibilities:

• Provide financial analysis on key business initiatives aimed at optimizing operations.
• Responsible for month-end closing process including journal entries, standard reporting package, account reconciliations, and KPI tracking.
• Conduct evaluation and tracking of annual budgets in accordance with business plan.
• In charge of managing Account Payable individual and Staff Accountant, ensuring efficient financial operations and effective team collaboration.

The Division Controller Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 5+ years of financial accounting experience
• Residential homebuilding industry experience
• Strong analytical skills and team player
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Understands sense of urgency
• Excellent Communication skills both oral and written
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License preferred
