We are committed to the growth and professional development of our staff. The Opportunity We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst/Financial Operations Manager in either our Alexandria, Virginia or Seattle, Washington office. We are also potentially open to remote hire.

We are in search of a driven finance professional who is enthusiastic about embracing a diverse range of duties and grow with the firm.
This role signifies a chance to become part of an expanding institution and progressively assume greater duties. Candidates should possess prior experience in federal government contracting. Essential Role and Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between staff and accounting department, acting as the primary communicator regarding accounting matters.
Set up and maintain projects within the company's accounting system (PROCAS), while collaborating with project managers to initiate setups and ensuring billing and reporting requirements are met. Assist in Indirect Cost Submissions, annual independent audits, and ad hoc financial information requests. Review expense reports and expense reimbursement for accuracy.
Manage and enhance current accounting policies, procedures, and workflow to ensure timely and accurate invoices and other reports. Review the preparation of semi-monthly payroll. Manage time reporting and processing.
Prioritize and delegate tasks between project staff and accountants. Support staff for process adherence and accurate reporting Qualifications Proficient in government contract accounting, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) standards. Competent in full-cycle accounting.
Strong time management and organizational abilities for multitasking. Meticulous attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
Preferred experience with federal contractor accounting systems like PROCAS.
