Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst supporting Post Consumer Brands Supply Chain Operations, you will be responsible for the control, reporting and analysis of financial information used to lead and influence key decision making by its Leadership Team. Information will be used to measure performance, improve operational efficiency, and identify on-going risks and opportunities affecting overall performance. The position will report to our Supply Chain Finance Manager and will involve extensive interaction with key Supply Chain Business Partners.
Major Job Activities/Duties:
- Support month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
- Serve as critical liaison between Finance and Supply Chain through forecasting and reporting of on-going Cost Savings projects.
- Partner with Supply Chain Finance Manager during monthly Integrated Business Planning to develop and communicate the 18-month rolling forecast.
- Provide on-going analysis of internal and external cost drivers to identify meaningful trends and highlight risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers and leaders by providing a financial lens to organizational initiatives affecting Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations.
- Interact with external business partners on varied financial areas.
- Support special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics. 2+ years of Finance/Accounting experience preferred.
- Candidate is highly motivated, self-starter with intellectual curiosity and ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical, communication, organization and prioritization skills are critical to success.
- Experience providing financial support to Supply Chain / Manufacturing Operations is beneficial.
- Willingness to be proactive and collaborate in a high-change, dynamic environment is critical.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (emphasis in Excel) and/or experience with JDE/DAS/TM1 suggested.
