Position Summary
Resources for Human Development (RHD) is hiring a Financial Analyst for our Central Region!
RHD Central IDD Division is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to support or programs in Northwest Florida, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Dakota. The Financial Analyst assists with the coordination, development, and management of budgets, forecasts, and analysis of program financial results. A commitment to the RHD values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed.
The Financial Analyst will assume primary responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting on financial results for a limited number of assigned programs. The Financial Analyst also assists the Financial Managers with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of program financial results for additional programs and helps to ensure timely and accurate month and year-end financial closes. The Financial Analyst ensures that all financial operational functions are accomplished for all assigned programs in the Central Region.
This is a remote position. The ideal candidate lives in the St. Louis area, close to the Central Region Administration Office, in the even that local collaboration is needed. This is not required, and residing in another location does not disqualify you from this role.
Sign-On Bonus Offered:
RHD is offering a HIRING BONUS for this position! A $1000 hiring bonus for employee to be distributed in two parts during the first three months of employment. Part one-Following the successful completion of New Hire Orientation hiring bonus will be processed for the employee. The employee will receive $500 gross. Part two-Following the initial 90 days of successful and continuous employment as a Direct Support Professional, a second hiring bonus will be processed for the employee. The employee will receive $500 gross.
Essential Duties and Functions
Data Analytics
- Review General Ledger to ensure compliance with funder requirements and RHD policy, evaluate General Ledger for miscoded and missing transactions, and submit accruals and correcting Journal Entries and/or Reclasses as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts including operating revenue and expenses and capital expenditures. Enter data into budget tracking software.
- Assist in analyzing and reporting of key performance indicators
- Track monthly expenses against budgets, identify and analyze trends, alert Manager of FP&A about potential issues, and provide recommendations for solutions
Training & Compliance
- Assist with providing training and education on relevant financial matters to program staff, including expense monitoring, check requisitions, cash handling, and consumer funds management.
- Prepare and submit invoices and other reporting for cost-reimbursement contracts and grants, insuring compliance with all funder and RHD guidelines.
Quality Assurance
- Oversee credit card activity, including monitoring credit card usage for unusual transactions, auditing cardholder reporting for timely and accurate account coding and posting of receipts, and following up on any fraud investigations
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience

The Financial Analyst will be required to lift, sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time and as assist individuals in service with their daily needs.
