This position is dedicated to delivering analytics & reporting solutions with an emphasis on Project and Business Unit Financial data and metrics. The Analytics & Reporting Analyst will play a key role in monthly reporting and flux analysis and will engage in various data analytic initiatives. Efforts will align with the Company's mission to deliver trusted, data-driven reporting, empowering users to make insightful business decisions, maximize client relationships, and forecast future business growth and performance.
  • Support preparation of reports, analysis, and presentation of project financial data for various levels of leadership
  • Support the development, use and interpretation of financial data models and reports
  • Work with Financial Analytics team to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Perform data validation and tie-out exercises in support of testing new/existing project financial data models and enhancements
  • Prepare year-end footnote support for audited financial statements
  • Support external audit requests, as assigned by manager
  • Translate data requirements to practical usage for team members.
  • Encourage the use of modern analytics and empower others to leverage available reporting tools for data consumption and reporting through problem assessment, data preparation, data analysis and data visualization
  • Seek Opportunities to enhance technical skills which can be transferred to other accounting resources
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of four (4) years related accounting experience; extra credit may be given for public accounting experience.
  • One year of additional credit given for CPA or MBA
  • Strong functional understanding of data models and available reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with data models, data mining and segmentation preferred.
  • Robust analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • SQL experience a plus
