The Financial Analyst will assist in performing day-to-day analytical functions across SEA. This position will routinely work with varying levels of management at both the corporate office and the parks. Working closely with the finance and strategy teams, this position will be responsible for providing analytical services for park locations and SEA initiatives. This position will perform multiple functions to include but not limited to:
You will be responsible for:
- Assist in the preparation of the annual capital expense budget and provide expense variance analysis.
- Maintain reporting of capital expense initiatives that are being considered for approval.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budget and provide expense variance analysis for corporate departments.
- Perform return-on-investment (ROI) analysis for major capital expense initiatives
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for the business unit strategy meetings.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Whatit takes to succeed:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related business discipline.
- Preferred by not mandatory, two years of relevant business experience (financial planning, accounting, business analysis).
- Must be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Must possess strong communication skills.
- Must have a proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a team environment.
- Must have strong analytical skills.
- Must be experienced in Excel and PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.
