Kavaliro is seeking a skilled Hybrid Real Estate Financial Analyst on behalf of our client in Orlando. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Real Estate finance, accounting, and analytics, with expertise in lease accounting and property management. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
2+ years of experience in Real Estate finance, accounting, or analytics.
Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as Vlookups and Pivot Tables. Candidates will be required to complete a brief Excel assessment in the final round.
Experience with journal entries, monthly reconciliations, reporting, and accounts receivable.
Prior experience in lease accounting or property management is essential. Knowledge of lease terms, rent calculations, and CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations is necessary for accurate payment processing and reconciliation.
Familiarity with leasing systems such as Tango and CoStar.
Proficiency in Oracle products, including Discoverer and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management).
Responsibilities:
Prepare percentage rent accruals, payments, and annual reconciliations.
Maintain accurate records of lease terms, rent calculations, and CAM reconciliations.
Perform journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and reporting tasks.
Communicate effectively with landlords, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues.
Utilize software tools such as Tango, CoStar, Oracle Discoverer, and HFM for financial analysis and reporting.
Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis related to lease accounting and property management.
