General Summary:
As a key member of the CTBO/CTMS teams, works extensively with coverage analysis specialists, CTBO budget specialists, clinical research coordinators, principal investigators, and various stakeholders of BCH, to assist with building of calendars and reviewing/entering budgets in Oncore in accordance with the protocol document.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops prioritization schema to aid in workload management for calendar and budget build tasks.
- Performs system testing as directed and quality control of application functionality during application upgrades.
- Assists in verifying the budget build in Oncore by the Advarra team.
- Assists the help desk to support current customers who encounter problems or have questions.
- Collaborates with direct supervisor, coverage analysis team, budget team, clinical research team, project managers, health system representatives, consultants, and vendors to ensure overall completion of goals, schedules, and deadline.
- Stays up to date on all new and evolving institutional changes as they relate to policy, pricing, budgeting, etc. for clinical trial data captured in OnCore.
- Independently reviews all protocol amendments to determine need for revisions of protocol specific calendars.
- Analyzes study calendar revisions within the CTMS that impact invoicing and revenue recovery.
- Completes appropriate, detailed, analytical review of budget amendments, study subject data entry and visit information to facilitate accurate billing/invoicing.
- Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Experience working with a Clinical Trials Management System preferred.
- Experience working with or in clinical trials, clinical research management/administration, IRBs, and/or understanding of medical terminology preferred
- Understanding or ability to rapidly develop an understanding of Medicare Clinical Trial Policy
- Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
- Work requires the ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Clinical Research or Health Sciences
- 1 year of related work experience
