We are currently seeking a research-driven Financial Analyst with PowerBI experience to join our team on-site in our Pen Argyl, PA office. If you passionate about about leveraging data to drive business success and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!WHAT YOU'LL DO:As an integral part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for working with clients in the preparation and analysis of financial information to aid in making sound business decisions. The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical thinker, who can develop visually engaging dashboards and reports.Responsibilities include:Design user-friendly dashboards and reports utilizing dynamic data visualizations with Power BIInterpret and provide data analysis content that facilitates data storytelling, provides actionable insights (opportunities, improvements, performance), and aids in business decision-makingProvide explanations for all significant variances, anomalies, trends, etc.Analyze monthly financial results and compare performance to the business plan, the forecast, and the prior year figuresCompile data and assist in documentation of business processes and departmental tasksConsistently meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality of all financial information in a professional and business-like mannerLOCATION + SCHEDULEOn-site in our Pen Argyl, PA officeOnce released from initial training period (-4 months), employee may work from home up to 2 days per week as business needs dictate and if performance is maintainedFull-time Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PMPAY + BENEFITSAnnual salary: $62k - 70k, commensurate with experienceMedical, dental, & vision insurancePaid Holidays, Vacation, Personal & Sick time401(k) Profit SharingBasic Life InsuranceTuition ReimbursementTravel AssistanceEmployee Assistance ProgramLong Term DisabilityPreparation of WillsOptional pet insuranceRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent from a four-year university/collegeMinimum 3 - 5 years related experience and/or trainingAbility to use critical thinking when gathering and analyzing informationAbility to use logical thinking to solve practical problems and interpret instructionsComputer literacy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelBusiness intelligence analytical tool proficiency required - PowerBI experience strongly preferred, but comparable software is acceptableBerkheimer Business Services is an equal opportunity employer and offers a friendly work environment with great work/life balance.
