As Financial Aid Officer, you will be responsible for supporting student financial access and success. You will have a strong compliance orientation and a passion for serving the next generation of business and technology leaders.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Process and originate Federal Direct Loans and private education loans.
- Coordinate and process Consortium Agreement.
- Support department technology needs including CRM: (SalesForce) and document management (SoftDocs).
- Assist and advise students.
- Assist in packaging and sending Financial Aid offer notifications.
- Aid in office coverage as needed.
Your Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in a business-related field.
- Financial aid experience strongly desired.
- Customer or financial experience required.
- Excellent computer, communication and analytical skills required.
- Understanding of current federal and state Financial Aid regulations and related state tax laws desired.
- Must be able to work scheduled 1-2 early evenings per week and occasional weekend hours.
30-Day Goals:
- Fully trained on the loan process.
- Work with Assistant Director on Consortium Agreement process.
60-Day Goals:
- Independently process Direct Loans.
- Independently processing Consortium Agreements with support as needed.
90-Day Goals:
- Independently process Private Loans.
- Independently process Consortium Agreements.
