Position Overview
The Finance & Membership Coordinator assists and coordinates with financial operations for the Chamber including accounts payable and receivable functions. This role will work in collaboration with the Executive Director on membership recruitment and retention efforts.
Qualifications
- Associates degree required.
- Demonstrated experience in and administrative support capacity, with at least one year of comprehensive office experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and speaking skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage volunteers, work with members, committees and staff.
- Financial experience with understanding and/or knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices. Prior cash handling experience also required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in QuickBooks.
- Sound decision making, and excellent judgement skills are essential.
Duties
- Assists with the financial operations of The Chamber.
- Responsible for accounts payable and receivables, including monthly membership dues invoicing and statements, while and ensuring that all financial policies and procedures are followed.
- Participates in membership sales and retention activities, including aging and collections communications.
- Provide administrative support to Chamber Bucks program.
- Guides and supports various committees. Ensures that the committee direction follows strategic plans, budgetary guidelines, and quality expectations of Executive Director and Board of Directors.
- Guides and supports critical Chamber Strategic Initiative teams. Ensures that team direction follows strategic plans, budgetary guidelines, and quality expectations of Executive Director and Board of Directors.
- Performs a myriad of other duties as requested or required.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate activities/functions outside of established workday.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
