The primary focus of the Finance Manager is to support financial/operational decision making for the Sales, Marketing and Executive divisions across all subsidiaries and operating segments. At Rently, a successful candidate will enjoy and be experienced in developing analytical frameworks, conducting analyses, and interpreting results to develop actionable recommendations. We are looking for a successful candidate who will thrive in an environment in which she/he works with a broad range of business partners.
Job Duties:
- Analyze financial and operational results versus forecast and plan, investigate significant variances, communicating findings to drive results
- Manage Budget and Forecast processes for the Sales and Marketing functions including preparation reports and analysis for the different department cost centers
- Consolidate financial reports to help drive revenue growth
- Support analytics for Global Product Management, ESG and Marketing growth initiatives
- Support analytics related to growth initiatives ("Value Drivers") and other strategic commercial initiatives
- Ensure consistent reporting of metrics across various systems (NetSuite/Salesforce/PowerBI)
- Act as liaison between Accounting, Finance, Sales and Marketing
- Work with Marketing and assist in analytics around various campaigns and initiatives with associated ROI's
- Act as a change agent for process improvement in order to improve results and minimize risk
- Help with any ad-hoc projects and analysis needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Undergraduate college degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
- 5-7+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related areas, framing and conducting analyses as well as
- Knowledge of accounting and GAAP
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite and financial systems knowledge, working knowledge of NetSuite, Salesforce and PowerBI
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, strategic thinking organization and accuracy
- Communicate clearly: verbal and written
- On-site preferable but not required
$120,000 - $140,000 a year
For applicants located in California, the salary range for this full-time role is expected to be $120,000-$140,000 annually. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Rently reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications, and that the expected salary range may be different for candidates located outside of California.
