This is a visible and integral role across the organization - directly supporting FB Product, Engineering, Business, and cross functional leaders. You will drive Facebook investments, expenses and headcount management across the full range of planning, strategic decision making, and forecasting activities. You’ll engage daily with business partners, and act as both a financial business partner and strategic advisor to the Facebook leadership team.The role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, a deeply analytical mindset, and a bias towards action. - Become an integral part of Facebook’s strategy and planning processes and champion independent viewpoints across Facebook and Meta Finance leadership
- Own end-to-end partnerships with a broad range of Product, Engineering, and Business leads
- independently and effectively become a trusted advisor to executive-level partners
- Drive nuanced ROI and impact frameworks across headcount, expense, and other investments
- Lead special projects requiring deep subject matter expertise in Facebook’s business model
- Perform strategic / ad hoc business analysis as required in partnership with Facebook’s leadership team
- Present outcomes and business outlook to stakeholders across Facebook and Finance
- Collaborate with horizontal FP&A teams and Corporate FP&A to improve and operationalize processes related to headcount and expense annual/long-term planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Business Operations, or related field involving direct partnership with the business
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Effective communication skills with experience building relationships with people across an levels of the organization
- Demonstrated experience to be organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter, and experience operating successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Experience synthesizing strategic insights and problem solving individually or in a group setting
- Proficient in analytical and quantitative modeling: Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or MS in quantitative field
