Finance Manager - Decision, Data, Fraud, and Risk
The Decision, Data, Fraud and Risk (DDFR) financial planning and analysis team supports a $300 million business segment of Digital Financial Solutions (DFS). The DDFR business develops and delivers software and services to financial institutions that enable financial management, enterprise content management, reporting and analytics, fraud and Risk solutions.
What does a successful Finance Manager - Decision, Data, Fraud and Risk do at Fiserv?
As a Finance Manager, oversee the preparation of the management reporting package, inclusive of KPIs, financial trends, and functional results that enable business performance. Identify key data points and trends that demonstrate the relationship between the operational, financial and performance goals and present your insights to the DFS leadership team. You will collaborate with sales and implementations teams to develop financial forecasts. Participate in annual planning, forecast, and close process for the business segment.
What you will do:

• Design innovative analytical and simplified management reporting tools for improved understanding of financial impact for informed decision making
• Partner with business segments to develop and drive in-depth financial analyses identifying key drivers, trends, variances, emerging risks and opportunities; regularly communicating findings to senior management in succinct and meaningful reporting
• Continuously improve forecast accuracy and predictability by identifying and aligning key drivers of the business
• Key client and product level reporting and forecasting
• Perform strong trend analysis on recurring revenue streams (client revenues, transactions, revenue sharing) and non-recurring revenue streams (one-time events, fees)
• Evaluate transactions and revenue performance to provide actionable insights, and identify opportunities to grow revenue and profit through data mining, analytics, and automation
• Provide key support to business unit product profitability analysis
• Build strong relationships across functions within the company, and maintain an open flow of communication to build a deep knowledge of current events in the business
• Problem solving is expected and frequent. Must be able to define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Conduct product line margin analyses
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and Corporate Policy
• Manage a team of two analysts including all aspects of supervision, professional development and review of the team's financial analysis.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field
• 5 or more years of applicable finance and/or accounting experience
• Experience in excel based financial modeling and financial planning and analysis.
• Ability to examine and verify financial documents and reports and skill in analyzing and interpreting financial data.
• Ability to transform raw data (i.e. transaction volumes) into meaningful and impactful revenue analysis
• Ability to prepare a variety of financial statements, reports and analyses as well as accuracy in working with large amounts of data.
• Ability to prepare business cases as needed to support a growing technology business.
• Proficiency in SAP BPC, AO, Microsoft Excel and Power Point

• MBA and/or CPA
