Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Job Description:
Are you interested in making a difference while also working in a collaborative team? We are seeking a Finance Manager to support the Corporate Development, new business ventures, and international divisions. In this role, you will be interacting with various teams across the organization as a trusted business partner to aid in driving our mission to cure cancer through the development of new businesses and ventures rapidly growing in our geographies being served and innovating in care delivery and education.
You Will:
- Create models, financial analysis tools, and presentations to assist Senior Leadership in understanding progress toward achieving organizational goals.
- Assist with designing, creating, and composing executive-level reports specific to key transaction/business planning issues which address and highlight stakeholder concerns, valuation models, synergies, contractual issues, and accounting and tax reporting.
- Analyze partner/business model data to identify key financial performance and operating trends and insights through rigorous financial statement analysis and applied data analytics.
- Develop, update, and review in-depth and complex financial analyses related to cost savings initiatives, new programs, projects, or business plans.
- Analyze and assess all the financial, commercial, operational, and strategic assumptions being made.
- Use benchmarking data to identify industry best practices and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct forecasting and scenario analysis modeling.
- Prepare analysis and interpretation of financial results with regard to financial statements, business plans, variance analysis, recruitment, and others as needed to facilitate decision-making.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate measures and evaluate financial process and financial performance improvement initiatives.
You Are:
- A critical thinker with strong understanding of complex key financial metrics and critical drivers
- Self-starter who takes initiative in managing multiple projects independently
- Action-oriented and eager to embrace new challenges.
- Skilled in working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding.
You Have:
- 7+ years of finance, accounting, revenue cycle, or related experience, or 5+ in a large financial institution with experience in Financial Due Diligence/Accounting Advisory Services. Healthcare experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, knowledge of Tableau/Alteryx is a plus.
#LI-HYBRID Location: 90% remote flexibility. Expected to be in NYC for important in-person meetings and other collaboration needs.
