The role you’ll contribute:
The Finance Manager leads the finance function of Well 65 and will function in strategic, tactical, analytical, and managerial roles, depending on the initiative. This role requires a thorough financial acumen around physician practice finances, including fee-for-service, risk-based and other emerging population health environments.
The Finance Manager will assist the Director of Finance with assessing the financial viability, opportunity and risk of Well 65 growth, including developing strategies to drive economic success of current and future operations. This role will lead the production of monthly financial statements, the budget process, the capital process, and measure accountability around financial targets. The Finance Manager will also assist with the development of necessary analytical packages and develop reports benchmarking Well 65 against market competitors.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Monthly financial close, production and dissemination of financial reporting packages
- Analyze and evaluate monthly financial statements
- Manage the development and tracking of the annual operating and capital budgets
- Develop models to forecast and track optimal Well 65 economics, including revenue optimization and cost reduction strategies
- Develop financial projections as needed
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure that physician compensation is calculated correctly and communicated properly
- Assists in development of strategic plans for Well 65
- Serve as a liaison with internal/external auditors to provide data as needed
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Three (3) years of experience in healthcare analytics/auditing, public accounting or related field; and supervisory or customer relationship experience
- One (1) year of applicable leadership experience
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED _:_
- Certified Professional Accountant designation/license.
