Job Summary and QualificationsThe Food Services Worker is responsible for performing a variety of cafeteria and catering services that may include food prep, serving food to customers, keeping appropriate stations clean and stocked, dishwashing, general sanitation, and running the point of sale system.
?What you will do in this role:
- Utilize appropriate portion control.
- Scrape, wash, and put up all trays, dishes, etc.
- Keep clean work area and equipment.
- Operate a cash register.
- Count money & make change with figures on calculator.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
- Ability to follow standardized recipes for food prep.
- Proper dating and labeling of food items.
- Helps prepare food for special luncheons and catered events.
What qualifications you may need:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required
- Food Service experience is preferred but not required
