Welcome Home! Disney Vacation Club (DVC) FP&A Finance team is currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Finance. DVC is a fast paced, dynamic business that is part of Disney Signature Experiences, an entrepreneurial growth engine for the Disney Experiences segment. This team is responsible for financial planning, analysis and consolidation of the P&L for the DVC business.
The Sr. Manager, Finance, DVC – FP&A leads the team responsible for financial planning, analysis and consolidation (P&L and capital) for the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) business. This highly visible role has frequent exposure to and interaction with the Disney Signature Experience (DSE) and DVC senior leadership teams. The role also integrates with key DVC partners as well as partners across the site including Segment Planning, Revenue Planning, Resorts Finance and Controllership. Given that the team tells the strategic and financial story for Disney Vacation Club (which is a highly complex business), we are seeking a strong and experienced Finance leader who possesses outstanding communication skills and excellent business acumen. This position is located in the Orlando, Florida area, reporting to the Director, DVC Financial Planning and will lead 3 direct reports.
What You Will Do:
Lead DVC in the financial planning cycles (Long Term Plan (LTP) / Annual Operating Plan (AOP) / forecasts), capital planning cycles (Long Term Capital Plan (LTCP), Annual Capital Plan (ACP), and forecasts), present and tell the financial story to DVC leadership and DSE Leadership.
Partner with Controllership, Investor Relations, Treasury, and Segment Planning on various deliverables associated with quarter close, earnings releases, and each planning cycle.
Partner with DVC Club Management, Member Experience, and DVC Strategy teams to drive value in DVC. Partner with Financial Reporting, Capital Reporting and Capital Planning to ensure accurate financial practices and reporting.
Develop strategic and financial analyses on DVC Financing business and the DVC Sales Contract Pipeline.
Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to a hard-working team.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Finance or related area
Proven track record of positive leadership skills with an ability to inspire the team, quickly adapting leadership style to meet the needs of the business and environment
Ability to influence and lead across all levels of organization in a collaborative environment
Proven ability to synthesize financial information into a concise story and communicate it effectively, leveraging strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to get results through a proactive approach to problem solving, strong detail orientation, meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities, and great partnership skills
Finance Transformation/Automation
Demonstrated analytical ability and strong computer/systems skills. Proven advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills required

MBA or equivalent or CPA
Knowledge of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products financial planning processes
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics
