Form of work My client, a privately held boutique Real Estate Investment Firm in NYC is looking to hire a Finance Associate to join the Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Professional to work on an intimate team, allowing you to have internal exposure to various areas of the company. On a day to day, you will oversee the financial activities (Bank reconciliations, AP and AR maintenance, preparing wires and internal transfers). Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of financial forecasts such as revenue and expenses and will support quarterly and annual compliance and audit requests. The role is very hands on and requires someone is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to a high-quality work product. You must have advanced excel skills and be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment with an ability to function independently and as part of a collaborative team. If you are someone who has an interest in the Real Estate Investment space and you are an enthusiastic about your career and the people you work with, this could be a great fit for you. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience, ideally have worked in public accounting and have now transitioned to the private sector in the Real Estate Investment industry.
