Continental Siding is currently looking for a highly motivated individual seeking a long-term career, with the market's top home improvement company.
Summary: The Finance Administrator will interview and counsel clients regarding loan applications, assist with the completion of loan documents, inform applicants of lending policy terms and requirements, and finalize and submit applications for approval.
Essential Duties:
· Interview potential borrowers to gather the necessary information to complete lending applications.
· Provides information on and answers questions about lending products and services.
· Counsels and educates potential borrowers on applicable lending policies.
· Organizes and compiles data, documentation, and applications; follows up with borrowers to acquire any missing information.
· Requests or acquires necessary documents such as titles required for loan collateral.
· Performs clerical tasks such as filing, copying, and digitally transmitting documents as required.
· Assists lending institutions and exterior designers with the application process when needed.
· Maintains records of adjustments, recalculations, and payments.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE— Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
· LANGUAGE SKILLS— Able to read and interpret documents such as operating procedure manuals. Able to speak English clearly and with proper grammar and diction. Able to speak effectively in group settings.
· MATHEMATICAL SKILLS— Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
· REASONING ABILITY— Able to apply common sense understanding in a variety of situations to assure customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
· COMPUTER SKILLS—Proficiency with using PC hardware (keyboard, monitor, system unit, mouse, cables) and office automation-related software (windows, MS Office applications, email, printing) required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
