UGA Finance is a growing financial technology company that offers consumers credit options at the point of sale. We are a leader in providing financing and servicing for unsecured lending in key verticals, including Education, Medical, Membership and Consumer Goods.

We are looking for a friendly and outgoing person to join our Information Technology team. The Systems Administrator & Technician will provide PC Desktop, Network (LAN/WAN), Voice, and System Access support. Responsible for Firewall and Anti-Virus programs. Provides reporting and status as needed and will assist other departments as a backup when needed. Essential functions include:
- Assisting employees with any problems regarding hardware or software
- Performing other related duties or special projects as assigned or requested.
- Pricing new hardware and software.
- Maintaining databases for employee's computer & user access, key cards, email and phone system access.
- Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly backups of business-critical systems.
- Developing procedures and controls to maintain systems requirements in accordance with PCI DSS.
- Configuring new hardware and software consistent with system hardening controls and NIST guidelines
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology or similar is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in the IT field is preferred
- Proficient in Active Directory Domain Services
- Knowledge of Office 365 administration
- Strong computer support skills.
- Basic understanding of networking.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable maintaining and replacing computer hardware components.
