Aerospace Final-Out Inspector

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for final inspection and in-process audits of parts/assemblies/processes to meet customer specifications, purchase order, and quality requirements. Determine part conformity, compliance, and ensure that it is suitable for use by our customer.
- Ensures that only acceptable product moves to the next operation and\or shipped.
- Ensures that all products have passed all inspection, test requirements, and that appropriate records are maintained.
- Ensure that any product that fails any portion of the detailed inspection plan or test requirements are communicated, tagged, and appropriate records are maintained.
Duties:
- Perform Quality Control inspections on products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicator, and snap gauge, to ensure product meets specifications.
- Collect and record data from inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance to customer/internal drawings, procedures, and specifications.
- Identify and document defects or deviations from specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet visual appearance requirements. * Follow established procedures and guidelines for Quality Control inspections.
- Completion of Detailed Inspection Plans (DIP) and AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
Requirements:
- 5 years' experience as F/A, In-Process and/or Final Inspector.
- Proficient in GD&T
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or deviations from specifications.
- Excellent data collection and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of Quality Control procedures and standards. AS9100D
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
- Proficient B/P and specification interpretation
- Physical Demands:
- the employee is required to - stand, walk, push, pull, reach.
- overhead, and bend to the floor. - exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and\or exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and\or - exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
