Job Description
We're looking for a technically skilled and driven individual to join our growing Operations Teams as a Field Training Specialist. The Field Training Specialist is responsible for presenting training materials for the Operations department. This position is responsible for executing the standards of the current curriculum, assisting with the design of future curriculum enhancement, evaluating the performance of trainees and serving as a general subject matter expert for all field operational processes. The Field Training Specialist is responsible for accurate and standardized reporting with key insights to communicate operational performance to the Operations leadership team and provide ongoing support and enhancement of metrics by driving alignment with Industry standards and best practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of training curriculum to all field staff.
- Maintain company standards with respect to training curriculum and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Provide recommendations and assists the Training and Development department to enhance existing curriculum.
- Assist Training Manager in the development of Field Training materials.
- Serve as a subject matter expert of all field protocols, including end user testing, SOP revisions and field implementation.
- Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gain knowledge of work areas and topics requiring training and develop curriculum requirements.
- Act as a consultant to internal associates to determine Field Training needs that will improve individual and overall organization performance.
- Provide feedback on training classes to Training Manager and Regional Operations Managers.
- Maintain classroom management to foster a positive learning environment.
- Review and prepare all presentation materials needed for training.
Job Requirements:
Education, skills and/or Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equal job experience.
- Examinetics field experience preferred.
- Previous training experience strongly preferred.
- Effective public speaking and presentation abilities required.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Strong leadership skills required.
- MS Office skills proficiency.
- Ability to relocate to Kansas City.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as required.
- Ability to travel as required for follow-up and evaluation of training programs.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a minimum one-year dot medical card.
