The primary requirements of the Field Supervisor are to sell, estimate, and produce work to and make sure that the
Production Team produces the work in a timely, budgeted, scheduled, and profitable margins.
- Read, understand and follow the reconstruction processes, policies, and procedures
- Manage projects to consistently achieve a high degree of profitability per target margins and customer satisfaction
- Primary contact during estimating and production with adjusters and clients
- Screen and pre-qualify every new assignment
- Review, proof, and finalize all scopes with adjuster and clients.
- Timely collection of payments
- Review completed files for profitability and accuracy of the original scope
- Attend all company meetings and functions as required
- Assist in training all Production Team members
- Locating, hiring and utilizing qualified subcontractors
- Available during business hours (as set by operations manager) and work 45 hours per week minimum. You will be
- Accessible for on-call duty as regularly assigned
- Assure that your team is safety compliant
2. Proper File Documentation
- File documentation is required.
- Project related phone calls with the adjuster, agent property manager, tenant or other concerned party should be
time of the conversation
3. Organizational Abilities
- Must be able to manage multiple files and clients at a time.
- Should have a firm grasp of all assigned projects in production at any given time.
- Should maintain a clean and orderly workspace and vehicle
4. Timely and Complete Communication
All project communication should be returned in a timely manner, by the Field Supervisor.
- Phone calls should be returned to customers the same day the call is received, if it is received before 3pm. All calls
on your voicemail greeting.
- Estimates should be submitted for peer review as soon as they are complete.
- All after-hours emergency calls should be returned within 15 minutes
5. Collection Responsibilities
Although the Project Coordinator will be assisting with the collections process, the Field Supervisor is responsible for
taking care of most of these duties associated with collections on all projects. The Field Supervisor should take an
active role making sure that the projects are collected within the set parameters.
- Effective collections need to be managed and should receive attention on a weekly basis.
- Timely invoices will speed collections considerably.
- Emergency services should be billed as soon as they are complete.
- Pack Outs should be billed within two days of completion, and prior to the cleaning. These jobs should be paid in
- Payments should be received within 45 days of invoicing.
6. Timely Completion of the Project
The Field Supervisor is responsible for making sure the project is completed on time.
7. Locating and Utilizing Subcontractors
Project Managing is responsible for locating maintaining and utilizing subcontractors.
8. Relationship Management
It is the Field Supervisor's responsibility to development and maintain relationships with clients and adjusters.
9.Customer Service
The Field Supervisor is responsible for providing Customer Service to all adjusters and clients.
