This position serves to expedite the quality construction of ALLO's outside fiber plant by working closely with ALLO's Business Field Engineers and affiliated contractor(s) to satisfy both internal and external customers. Our Business Design Coordinators assure that our business customer's fiber pathway is designed, permitted, and completed ahead of schedule and fully to specifications. You will be expected to promote ALLO's culture: We're Honest, Exceptional, Local and Hassle-Free.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design any bores from previous day site surveys if applicable
- Attend and participate in all meetings assigned
- Check for invoices to input into the "ALLO Commercial Structured Cabling" form
- Coordinate with customers and contractors for scheduling construction appointments
- Perform any and all site surveys for the CBD area
- Plan and execute external construction
- Update all tasks if jobs are pending or completed
- Upon completion of permit, send to contractors to call in locates
- When locates clear, perform a site walk for approval
- Meet external construction time guidelines
- All jobs will be verified and inspected to meet ALLO standards
- Responsible for compiling and providing project cost estimates
- Assist all departments of ALLO as applicable for support
Colorado Residents: typical pay range for this role will be from $19.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree or 2-4 years' equivalent work experience preferred
- Previous leadership experience is a plus
EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to learn and grasp new concepts on the job
- Clean MVR to drive ALLO Communications vehicles
- Basic knowledge of fiber optic OSP Construction and the finished product with customer satisfaction
COMPETENCIES - SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
- Thorough knowledge of fiber design
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, and GIS/CAD.
- Capability of being part of a team and working closely with other team members
- Ability & willingness to travel
- Time management and organizational skills
- Flexible, innovative, and growth-oriented
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to operate a company vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license
- Attention to detail is paramount
- Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Travel responsibilities will mainly be day travel
