Job Description
The Field Service Technician will be working to maintain and troubleshooting sophisticated mechanical equipment integral to water purification, and delivering top-tier water solutions for critical water systems in various industries, including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, industrial power, electronics, and manufacturing. Successful technicians can have backgrounds in a variety of electro-mechanical areas, and we provide all training necessary to transfer any precious skills into the water purification field.
Job Responsibilities -
- Field Maintenance for High-Purity water systems, Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with system purity and efficiency
- Assist Installation team with new system startup when needed
- Collaborate closely with service management and engineering teams to identify and resolve system or component problems.
- Provide timely support to customers and maintain effective communication with customers about best continuous maintenance practices for long term system performance
-Regular "on-call" rotation assignments.
-over 50% local travel requirement, with 6 overnight stays per 30 days.
Job Requirements -
-Around 3 years of experience in customer facing maintenance service and repair role
-Experience with electro-mechanical systems
-Understand Instrumentation and Controls
-Computer Literacy (Word, Excel)
-Excellent Customer Service Skills, Ability to handle pressure of multiple ongoing projects
-Strength to lift 100 pounds
