CTR Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Newport News, VA area to work in a manufacturing plant environment.

2 Positions available: one First Shift and one Second Shift position!

SALARY RANGE" $80K - $90K

SUMMARY:

Perform preventive maintenance on industrial plant and heavy machinery equipment. Perform troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of specialized mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and components.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree or similar training and education
• Minimum 5 years of facilities and machine maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and schematics
• Understanding of electrical systems, incl. 480 volt and below,
• Understanding various types of control voltage
• Knowledge of hydraulic system component diagnostics, repair and failure analysis of valves, stacks, pistons and rams above 5000 PSI operating pressure
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
