Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support our work cybersecurity operations, emulating adversary behavior, and improving the defensive postures of our sponsors.
Responsibilities:
You'll evaluate tools and methodologies, assess adversary intent, develop cybersecurity analytics and other techniques to thwart or detect attacks, develop approaches to automate cybersecurity operations, and engage in research to improve the state of the practice
- Understanding of Cisco network devices and cable plants, network fundamentals, LAN / WAN technologies, the ISO layer model, TCP/IP, and data communications systems and protocols.
- Expert knowledge in switching, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience with packet capture tools and traffic analysis.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems; Cisco and Network Analysis Module; and scripting.
- Experience in complex troubleshooting and building technical solutions.
- Experience in IT operations, servers, storage, networks, systems management, discrepancy report (DR), and Business recovery practices.
- Experience in management of production networks in an operations environment.
Here's what you need:
- 5 years of experience in Network Engineering support of intelligence collection operations
- CCNA and CEH certifications
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $100,800 - 185,800
Colorado: $100,800 - $160,400
New York: $93,400 - $185,800
Washington: $107,500 - $170,800
