We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our elite service team working at major integrated circuit manufacturers across the United States. This immediate opening is for the critical role as a Field Service Engineer supporting gas treatment equipment located in Hillsboro OR. This position offers paid training, and options of both domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Startup and commissioning of new equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers, sales, and application teams.
• Answer technical questions from our customers about system repairs and applications.
• Stay current with the latest upgrades and training of new products and software.
• Prepare written reports for work performed.
• Conduct warranty repairs, retrofits, and troubleshooting of waste gas abatement systems.
• Provide system maintenance and operation training to our customers.
• Install system upgrades and engage in performance improvement efforts.
• Limited travel to other customers and headquarters (in Germany).
• Work with onsite teams on maintenance issues, alarms, and repairs.

Required knowledge and experience:

• Degree in electronics, mechanics, or equivalent military training.
• Ideal candidate would have previous gas treatment experience.
• HAZOP experience dealing with toxic, corrosive, and flammable gases.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and communication systems.
• 3+ years of experience working with electrical systems
• Ability to read, understand, and follow schematics, plans, and other similar documents.
• Strong customer service and people skills.
• Military experience would be an asset.
• Basic to intermediate PLC experience is a plus.
• High voltage electrical experience is an advantage.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
