Job Description
Our semiconductor client in Hillsboro, OR is looking to add a Field Service Engineer to their team. This is a full-time role with benefits, and must be comfortable working a compressed work week: 12-hour shift 7pm-7am, when needed.
Pay:$60K-$70K/year
Responsibilities:
- Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to repair Semiconductor equipment.
- Achieve high customer satisfaction through proactive service and addressing customer feedback.
- Propose cost-reducing modifications and improvements in Semiconductor Dry Asher equipment and processes (CIP).
- Analyze customer data to enhance tool availability, identify solutions to recurring issues, and predict future problems.
- Provide operation and maintenance training to customer employees for the company’s Semiconductor equipment.
- Collaborate with design engineers on engineering ideas and modifications for Semiconductor equipment.
- Travel to support customers within the company's network and attend training at company headquarters.
- Set and report personal and team goals aligned with the company’s vision.
- Document service and project progress in the company’s databases.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of equipment engineering experience in CVD, etch, ash, or related semiconductor manufacturing cluster tools.
- Fluent in English, computer skills (Microsoft Office), and legal US work status (no sponsorship provided).
- Available for up to 30% travel.
- Able to work compressed 12-hour night shifts (7 pm – 7 am) as needed.
